	An 'intelligent cctv' system developed by the Israeli government is set to revolutionise remote monitoring in commercial applications, according to security experts. 	GB Security Group's monitoring station has maintained its high standing by securing a successful assessment review from the NSI under the ARC Gold standard and also securing ISO 9001 at the same time. READ MORE

July 2009 – Long term partners make for happy relationships…
	When security guard Jim Macfadyen retired this year, he'd clocked up ten years with GB Security Group. More unusually he'd spent the whole time on site for just one customer – Bifrangi in Lincoln, where GB Security Group has provided cover since 1999. READ MORE

June 2009– Jason raises the bar on service
	GB Security Group engineer Jason Wright is helping to raise the bar on customer service standards. Jason, who joined the company in 1992, has been promoted to the new role of Engineering Manager to support and audit the field engineers. READ MORE

April 2009 – Neil helps drive the BS 8418 standard
	The BS8418 standard was introduced in 2003 to improve the quality and reliability of detection monitored CCTV. Six years on, the standard is being reviewed and Neil Jackson, director of CCTV and Access Control at GB Security Group, is one of the industry experts on the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) PR panel. 01/09/08 – GBSG new brand uncovered
	GB Alarms and GB Total Security have now been merged to form GB Security Group (GBSG). This rebranding has been designed to clarify what the company does and to ensure that people recognise that we offer a complete range of security solutions. 01/08/08 – GBSG Nominated for award
	GB Security Group have been selected as a finalist in the "integrated security solution of the year" category in the Security Excellence Awards 2008 by submitting a case study which incorporates man guarding, pedestrian and vehicle access control, and a detector activated remotely monitored cctv system, installed to BS8418.
01/08/07 - GBSG moves to 2nd Generation
	GB Security Group goes into its second generation with Tom Wright, joining the firm. Tom, eldest son of GBSG founders, Helen and Stephen Wright, comes from an engineering background, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and previously worked for Nissans European Design Centre. Tom says ‘I remember accompanying Mum into work when I was a youngster, and "helping out" in the school and university holidays, and now look forward to being a full time member of the team. The experience at a multi-national company has taught me a lot, but I am looking forward to being part of my family firm and offering the level of service that it allows’.
