| The BS8418 standard was introduced in 2003 to improve the quality and reliability of detection monitored CCTV. Six years on, the standard is being reviewed and Neil Jackson, director of CCTV and Access Control at GB Security Group, is one of the industry experts on the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) PR panel. 01/08/07 - GBSG moves to 2nd Generation |

| GB Security Group goes into its second generation with Tom Wright, joining the firm. Tom, eldest son of GBSG founders, Helen and Stephen Wright, comes from an engineering background, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and previously worked for Nissans European Design Centre. Tom says ‘I remember accompanying Mum into work when I was a youngster, and "helping out" in the school and university holidays, and now look forward to being a full time member of the team. The experience at a multi-national company has taught me a lot, but I am looking forward to being part of my family firm and offering the level of service that it allows’. | |
