What options do I have for payment?

Flexible options are available regarding method of payment. As well as standard payment (options include cheque, credit card or BACS), we also offer direct debit, rental and leasing contracts. We can discuss these in detail when we make a proposal.

Descriptions of commonly found CCTV terms:

CCTV

The acronym for Closed Circuit Television

Detector activated CCTV

Used for remotely monitored systems. When a detector senses movement the system sends an alarm to the monitoring station along with images of the cause.

Dome Camera

A type of camera that allows

Dome Camera

A camera, named after its dome shaped housing, permitting 360 degree movement

Fixed Camera

A camera that has no pan or tilt movement, usede for viewing a specific area

IP

Internet protocol, a method for communicating between networked devices.

Multiplexer

The hardware used to receive multiple CCTV inputs, allowing multiple cameras to be viewed and controlled with one monitor and controller

PTZ

Pan / Tilt / Zoom - the range of movement options on CCTV cameras

RVRC

Remote Video Receiving Centre - An approved centre for the remote monitoring of CCTV systems

Transmitter

The main hardware for controlling a remotely monitored CCTV system and transmitting the video and alarms to the remote site

Video Analytics

Computer intelligence applied to video images to provide information, such as where people are moving in the image.
