Audible Only Intruder Alarm Systems
For an audible only intruder alarm system, the alarm is reliant on the internal and external sounders to provide an audible and visual indication that the system has been set off.
Audible only systems are very effective alarms in circumstances where personnel will intervene in the event of an alarm activation, such as instances where staff may live on the property or in domestic properties where there is a good neighbourhood presence.
Monitored Intruder Alarm Systems
For a monitored intruder alarm system, the system is connected to an alarm receiving centre. In the event of the alarm activating, in addition to an audible alarm, a signal is transmitted to the centre who will then be instructed to contact your nominated keyholders and / or the police.
