Our main office is open from 8 am until 5 pm Monday to Friday (not including bank holidays). Our control room team, emergency repair engineers and mobile patrols work 24/7, 365 days a year.
GBSG provide national coverage to a number of sectors, including: solar farms, the Caravan and Motorhome Club and Churches. We also work closely with a wide variety of local clients, throughout the East Midlands and Anglia.
Yes, we undertake free site surveys and then provide you with a full no obligation quotation. We always talk to our customers so we can fully understand their requirements, that way we can offer the best priced systems that will meet all of their needs. For some sites that do not require a survey, you still receive full specification costs and details of your proposed system.
How long a survey takes really depends on the size of the property and the complexity of the system that is required. Most surveys take around an hour or less.
We are independently assessed by the UK’s leading security and fire safety bodies, including the NSI, SIA, BSIA and BAFE®; so all of our surveys, installs and monitoring and maintenance are delivered to the highest standards. Yes, we hold SIA licensing for our control-room and all Guarding staff.
GBSG are approved to the NSI Gold standard, ensuring that we work to the highest industry standards demanded by the Police, Fire and Rescue Services as well as insurers.
Yes, GBSG are approved to the BAFE® adopted SP203-1 scheme, for designing, installing, commissioning, handing over and maintaining of fire detection and alarm systems.
Yes, we are members of the BSIA trade association for the professional security industry in the UK.

A maintenance contract helps to prolong the life of your security and fire system. A system working in optimum condition will always give you the best results. Having a contract also means you receive priority for emergency call-outs related to your system.
We provide fire and intruder alarms as well as business critical alarms.
The cost of an alarm system, depends on the type of property and also any specific features that you might need. We undertake a free site survey to ensure you have the right system for your property.

Batteries in an alarm system, should last for around two years. However, excessive use or poor signal strength can affect battery life. We recommend that your batteries are replaced every two years. If you have a maintenance contract with us, we will check and if necessary, replace your batteries when we service your system.
A monitored alarm, sends an alert into our monitoring station. Our monitoring staff are then able to call the police and your keyholders – should action need to be taken. To find out more about monitoring – click here.
The cost of the CCTV system, will depend on a number of factors including the type and number of cameras that your stem requires. We tailor every CCTV ssytem to your specific needs and the price will be based on the right system to provide you with the best solution.
Yes, you can view footage from your CCTV system on any smart device. You can also get a number of alerts through GBSG Pulse(R).
